2.0 – Purchasing at www.eu.chihiros.dk
Chihiros Denmark reserves the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If a price has been displayed incorrectly and could have reasonably been recognized as such by you, we are under no obligation to sell the product to you at the incorrect price.
We reserve the right to not be responsible for delivery failures arising due to force majeure.
If we discover that a product is out of stock, delayed, or on backorder, we will inform you as soon as possible of your options – e.g., to receive a refund.
In addition, we reserve the right to update pricing and to change fees when necessary.
3.0 – VAT & Customs
All prices include VAT corresponding to the destination country.
The final VAT will be calculated at checkout in accordance with your country’s VAT rate.
3.1 – VAT & Customs rates for the UK
Since the UK is no longer part of the EU there are some special customs and VAT rules.
We ship to the UK. When placing orders to the UK, our prices will be displayed with a VAT rate of 20%.
We are VAT registered in the UK with a GB EORI number and comply with the applicable rules and laws for sales to the UK.
For purchases of order below the value of GBP 135 (EUR 158) excl. VAT total, we will settle VAT directly with the UK via our GB EORI number. The customer will not be charged any VAT, customs duty, or a customs clearance fee upon receipt.
For purchases with a value of more than GBP 135 (EUR 158) excluding VAT, the rules require VAT and customs duties to be paid when the goods arrive in the UK, and a customs clearance fee (approximately GBP 5) can be expected from the carrier for calculating and collecting the duties.
Unfortunately, our webshop cannot handle these special rules correctly. Therefore, 20% VAT will be added to your order. When we ship your order and charge the money to your credit card, we will only charge the amount without VAT.
It is important to choose credit card and not PayPal when ordering to the UK, as a PayPal fee of 5% will be added when we need to refund the VAT paid.
3.2 – VAT & Customs rates for Norway
We are VOEC registered in Norway and comply with the applicable rules and laws of the VOEC scheme (Valued Added Tax on E-Commerce).
For purchases of goods below the value of NOK 3,000 (EUR 292) per item, we will settle VAT directly with the Norwegian Tax Administration via the VOEC scheme (Valued Added Tax on E-Commerce). The customer will not be charged any VAT, customs duty, or a customs clearance fee upon receipt.
For purchases of goods above the value of NOK 3,000 (EUR 292), we will not charge VAT upon checkout, but the customer will instead be charged VAT and customs duty when the goods arrive in Norway, and a customs clearance fee is to be expected from the carrier for calculating and collecting the duties.

Customs duties are not charged as all orders are shipped from Denmark, an EU member country, and we only ship to other EU countries.

Prices at www.chihiros.eu only apply to the EU, Norway, and the UK.
5.0 – Payment by credit card and PayPal
Purchases at www.eu.chihiros.dk can be paid with: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal.
There is no card payment fee for purchases at www.chihiros.eu
The payment won’t be charged to your card until the goods are dispatched from our warehouse. No amount higher than the authorized amount will be charged to your card.

6.0 – Delivery & Freight prices
We ship all orders with PostNord and DPD, and we do not ship COD (Cash on Delivery).
6.1 – Delivery & Freight prices to the UK
We ship to the UK. When placing orders to the UK, our prices will be displayed with a VAT rate of 20%.
We are VAT registered in the UK with a GB EORI number and comply with the applicable rules and laws for sales to the UK.

We are VOEC registered in Norway and comply with the applicable rules and laws of the VOEC scheme (Valued Added Tax on E-Commerce).
For purchases of goods below the value of NOK 3,000 (EUR 292) per item, we will settle VAT directly with the Norwegian Tax Administration via the VOEC scheme (Valued Added Tax on E-Commerce). The customer will not be charged any VAT, customs duty, or a customs clearance fee upon receipt.

6.3 – Delivery & Freight prices to other EU member countries
We ship to all countries within the EU.
We are registered with the VAT – One Stop Shop scheme and will settle VAT with the destination country. VAT rates may vary depending on the destination country. The final VAT will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
We use PostNord/PDP for shipments within the EU.

7.0 – Local pickup & Address
It is not possible to collect orders at our physical address.
7.1 – Dispatch address
All orders are sent directly within the EU from our warehouse in Denmark.
8.0 – Right of cancellation
You have a 30-day cancellation right when purchasing at www.chihiros.eu.
The cancellation period expires 30 days after the day you:
a) receive your goods.
b) receive the last item in the case of purchases of several items placed in one order and delivered individually.
c) receive the last batch or part in the case of purchases of items consisting of several batches or parts.
If you wish to cancel your purchase, you must notify us within 14 days of receipt of the order. The notice must be sent by e-mail to info@chihiros.dk, and clearly indicate that you wish to use your cancellation rights. You can also choose to use our standard cancellation form and include this with your return. The form can be found here. Always remember to include your order number.
8.1 – Return costs
The buyer pays for return shipping.
You may not cancel your order by simply refusing to accept the package without giving us a clear notice.
8.2 – Return of goods
You must return your order to us without undue delay and no later than 30 days after having notified us that you want to cancel your purchase. You must pay any expenses related to the return of the goods. When returning the goods, you are responsible for ensuring proper packaging and you bear the risk of the goods from the time they are delivered to you. You must pay for return freight.
8.3 – Partial cancellation
If you have purchased multiple items from us, you have the option to return one or more items even though they were purchased in one order. Please note that freight charges won’t be refunded if you regret part of your purchase.
You are liable for any depreciation of the product caused by any handling other than what is necessary to establish the character, the quality, and the functionality of the product. In other words – you can assess the product as you would in a physical shop.
If you want to ensure a full refund of the purchase amount, please test your goods with care. Visible signs of use will result in significant depreciation of the product.
Chihiros Denmark recommends that you return the goods in their original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may result in depreciation of the product.
8.4 – Repayment of the purchase amount
If you exercise your right of cancellation, we will refund all payments received from you. In case of depreciated items, which you are responsible for, the full purchase amount will be subtracted. If you exercise your right of cancellation, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (however, not extra costs as a consequence of your choice of another type of delivery than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay, and in any circumstances no later than 14 days from the date we receive your cancellation request. We will complete such repayment using the same means of payments as you used to make the original transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise.
We may withhold the repayment until we receive the returned goods, unless you have provided documentation for the return of the product.

You must include a copy of the order confirmation upon cancellation, and your cancellation will be processed quicker if you also include our form: standard cancellation form.

9.0 – Right to claim compensation
You have a two-year right to claim compensation when you shop at www.eu.chihiros.dk, which covers repairs, exchanges, returns, or price reductions, depending on the specific situation.
The claim must, of course, be justified and the right to claim compensation does not cover defects or damages caused by direct or indirect misuse of the product, poor maintenance, or other harmful actions.
9.1 – Due notice
Claims must be submitted with due notice after you have discovered the defect in your item. If you submit a claim two months after noticing the defect, your claim will be timely.
9.2 – Freight costs
Chihiros Denmark covers freight charges related to claims. Please contact us by e-mail at: info@chihiros.dk, and we will send a return label which you can use to return your claim to us. We use the carrier PostNord. If you choose to use a different shipping method, we will cover no more than the cost of the free return label included in our freight agreement with PostNord.

9.4 – Required claim information
When returning a claim to us, you must provide the following information.
When returning the item, please describe the issue in as much detail as possible.
Please note! We do not accept packages sent COD (Cash on Delivery).
Remember that the item must always be returned in proper packaging, and make sure to get a receipt in order to track & trace the shipment.
When sending an item to us for cancellation or a claim, you will always receive an e-mail once we have received the item. In the email, you will receive information about the further processing of your cancellation or claim. Remember to provide us with your e-mail address.
10.0 – Personal data policy
To enter agreements with us at www.eu.chihiros.dk, we need the following information:

We register this personal data with the purpose of delivering your order to you.
The personal data is registered at Chihiros Denmark and stored for five years, after which the data is erased.
When collecting personal data via www.eu.chihiros.dk, we ensure that this is done with your explicit consent and full knowledge of the data we gather and why.
We collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. The companies process the data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
We only collaborate with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide sufficient protection of your data.
We do not transmit customer data encrypted.
Information provided to www.eu.chihiros.dk is not passed on or sold in any way to third parties, and we do not register any sensitive personal data.
We register your e-mail address when signing up for our newsletter. The e-mail address is not passed on to other parties.
As a registered customer at Chihiros Denmark, you have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to gain insight to the registered data about you.
These are your rights under the Personal Data Act and any inquiries in this regard should be addressed by e-mail to Chihiros Denmark at: info@chihiros.dk.
