Choose PayPal at checkout even when you want to pay by card. Then select card payment on PayPal’s page and opt out of creating an account. This works when PayPal offers guest checkout.

How to pay by card

Choose card payment through PayPal
Choose “Pay with Visa, Mastercard or PayPal.” as your payment method, then select “CONTINUE TO PAYPAL”.
Choose this option even when you want to use a debit or credit card without a PayPal account.

Choose debit or credit card payment
On PayPal’s page, select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” to continue without logging in.

Continue as a guest
Under “Check out as a guest”, enter your email address and select “Continue to Payment”.
The email address is used for the payment. This step does not, by itself, create a PayPal account.

Enter your card details
Enter your card number, expiration date and CSC (security code) on PayPal’s page. Provide your phone number and the billing details requested.
Check that the country and address match your actual billing details.
PayPal may display individual texts in another language. In this example, the card form’s heading is in Danish, while the fields are in English.

Opt out of an account and pay
Switch off “Save info & create your PayPal account” to continue without an account. In this example, the option was switched on by default.
With the switch off, PayPal states “No PayPal account required.” Check the amount and select “Pay Now” when you are ready to pay. Complete any security checks requested by your bank.
Follow the instructions when you return to Chihiros.eu and wait for the shop’s order confirmation.
Check the account creation switch before paying, even if you selected guest checkout earlier.

I cannot see an option to pay by card
PayPal does not always offer guest checkout. Availability depends in part on PayPal’s assessment of the individual payment. If you can only log in or create an account, contact us and we will help you work out how to continue.
Which cards can I use?
This guide covers Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards when PayPal offers card payment. Examples include Visa Debit, Debit Mastercard, and Visa or Mastercard credit cards. Your bank and PayPal must approve the payment. For other card types, follow the options shown on the payment page.
Why has my card been declined?
Possible reasons include incorrect card details, your card’s settings or a decision by your bank or PayPal. Follow the message on the payment page. Contact your bank about a declined card, or write to us if you need help with your order.
PayPal is asking me to create an account
If you see “Save info & create your PayPal account”, switch it off. Check that PayPal says “No PayPal account required.” before paying. See step 6. If that option is missing, contact us.
Why does PayPal need my email address?
PayPal may ask for your email address and other contact details during guest checkout. Entering an email address does not, by itself, create a PayPal account. Read the options on the screen and choose to continue without an account when that option is available.
Why is PayPal showing another language or country?
PayPal may remember earlier language or country settings, and individual texts may appear in another language. Use the language and country controls shown on PayPal’s page if needed. Always choose your actual billing country; the Danish address in this example does not mean you should select Denmark.
